Christian Schmitz looks back on a 18-year career in the IT industry. He has extensive knowledge in the field of IT security – especially relating to topics like compliance management, cryptography and risk management.
He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). He designed and developed, inter alia, comprehensive security solutions for implementing healthcare services into the telematics infrastructure (TI). Furthermore, he managed the development of a redundant and highly available public key infrastructure (PKI) for insured clients certificates of the electronic health card. As Head of Segments e-Health and Secure Solutions, he developed new and customized security concepts as well as solution-oriented business models in the field of e-health.
