Gary Sharkey

Smart Cities Practice Architect, PwC

 

Gary has been PwC’s sustainability practice driver since 2009 and since 2018 has an additional mandate to scale up PwC’s smart cities business. Both roles are global and cross-sectoral in nature and entail working with senior leaders across PwC teams, clients and partners to innovate solutions to new opportunities.

 

His specialities lie in innovation, collaboration, and co-creation, and he has worked with several high-profile international initiatives to help public and private actors build consensus around the challenges the world is facing and how to surmount them.

 

He received degrees from Stanford and Johns Hopkins universities and has held teaching and research positions at the University of Colorado in Denver, SciencesPo in Paris, KAIST in Seoul and at Putian University in Fujian, China.
