Andrea loves working at the convergence of technology, business and design. Currently, he is IoT Ecosystem Director at Haier Europe, part of the world’s #1 appliance manufacturer Haier Smart Home group. Over the past decade he focused on venture capital and startup financing, helping launch a leading digital VC fund in Italy and running the acceleration platform of banking group Intesa Sanpaolo, which set up over 100 investment forums across three continents. Andrea started his career with formative experiences in management consulting and at Google, and has a degree in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan. Married with three kids, he is an amateur photographer and a big fan of the narrative potential of video games.
